In total, almost 5.4 million individuals across 31 countries received help from NRC’s programme activities during the year. Through NRC’s expert rosters, almost 800 experts were deployed to 70 countries.

Key responses were the Ebola crisis, the Middle East, the Nepal earthquakes, and the European refugee crisis, the latter with a focus on Greece and the Balkans.
